My life is a work of art

a natural work of art

I look in the mirror.

and see myself clearer.

sometimes moving backward

but mostly forward

no need to agonize.

over how I want to be recognized

we are all art

but I have my own part

to have ultimate freedom

to live my life, to live my way

to some I am unsuitable,

and to many I am valuable

a difficult life,

for not one faint of heart

I choose to make

my life a work of art

to be mine alone

of good and bad parts

my life is truly a work of art.
